Croydon Speakers Club PowerPoint Presentation Levels
A programmed approach to developing your PowerPoint skills.
Many people join speakers clubs to enhance their skills from a business perspective. Whilst this is not the case for all, it seemed time to accommodate this large and relatively untapped market.
Croydon Speakers has taken the lead and developed PowerPoint Presentation Levels which will enhance the speakers' armoury of tools. These levels are a guidance for speakers and evaluators which strengthens the current Advanced Level F4 in the ASC manual. Croydon members can download the levels here. Contact Ian for the password.
These have been devised by Ian Price who runs his own training company. We hope they will become adopted Nationally. The series of eight assignments allows speakers to participate at whatever level they are currently at, whilst giving experienced speakers new challenges to complete. Completion of the series results in a PowerPoint Masterpiece that is clearly at a level in excess of all the current assignments.
In addition, the notes and criteria for evaluators are clear and demand a level of expertise such that the evaluations are fair but strict enough to ensure the credibility of these advanced levels. Evaluators will need to be approved by name, and adhere to clear standards.
The levels are being piloted in participating clubs in the South East during Ian's year of Area Presidency and being submitted to the appropriate National Officers for consideration for inclusion in the ASC manual.
